The company has a sterling silver care note saying not to wear it in the shower or while sweating etc, and I've completely ignored that - wear mine 24/7 - and it still looks beautiful. The chain has a very small spring closure which is a pain to put on, BUT, because it's so small, hair doesn't get tangled up in it.
