This busy board is the best quality I’ve found. I’ve purchased others and returned before using. All was great at first, but then things started breaking. The cord for the phone was waaaay too long for safety, so I cut it, put a knot in it, and put it back together. The first day the hook that holds the phone in place broke, so I ordered a replacement phone—no biggie. The 3rd day, the plugs came unattached and I'm not sure how to put them back as they were. The 4th day, the upper part of the clip ripped off. I expect the zipper to do the same soon. The latches, light box/traffic light/ show lacer, castanet, switches, latches, fidget spinner, robot, bell and nut/bolt, all appear to be solid (or can easily be glued back on). I have been collecting miscellaneous busy board gadgets over time that I plan to make my own busy board with, but so far, they are collecting dust in a box with no time to construct, so for now, I will keep the board as the kids play with it all day long, on and off. I wish replacement parts could be sent/ordered without returning the whole board. We had one of these at school and the kids loved it so I decided to buy one for my grandson. Some parts were broken, the phone does not stay hung up, the light have no place for batteries so they don’t work. He still enjoyed it but not well made for the price. When I first saw the busy board it’s in a friend house, and her kid can play by herself for a while. I decided to get one for my boy. Usually the toy I bought for him he just played a short time and then left in the corn. When I got this busy board for him, he is curious about every small thing on the board. The spin, the robot and the zipper cannot keep his hand off. I’m so happy he can sit there and concentrate for a while. That’s is very good for a one year old boy. Overall it’s a nice busy board.I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my child. Overall, we like it. However, it’s very difficult to enjoy when the board keeps falling down! The price of this item needs to be amended. At $95 USD, sturdiness need NOT be an issue. We keep wondering, if it falls down hard enough will the toy break…decent quality although I’m disappointed the phone doesn’t stay on the hook. And the threads/string keeping the plugs attached came already shredded. Not sure how long it’ll last with a toddler playing with it.My toddler loves this busy board. It has kept her entertained for hours. It is durable and has taken a beating already. The only complaint I have with it is that the leg to hold it upright doesn't work well. It falls over frequently with very little push from the toddler. It would benefit from having a second leg for stability. Other than that I would give it 5 stars.I chose this busy board for my grandson’s 4th birthday. He is autistic and is fascinated with things that move, zip, switch, ring, light up, etc. It was the hit of his party! Not only did he love and play with it but his 8 year old brother and 2 year old cousin loved it too! It seems very sturdy made and I think it will provide him with hours of entertainment. This is for my toddler grandson. I had to remove a couple pieces as they were too small for a toddler to have. The lock with little keys, and the chain with clasp were too small. The phone will not stay on the base.
